A Distracted Driving Detection Model Based On Driving Performance

چکیده
A large body of evidence on traffic accidents indicates that distracted driving is a major cause accidents. To investigate the relationship between driver performance in both normal and states to discriminate which state based performance, simulator was used simulate drivers an urban road environment, distraction task designed motivate enter cognitive state. Data were collected from 80 each two states, database built. Deep neural network (DNN) multilayer perceptron structure, relative defects other classical algorithms with unclear classification thresholds, DNN can be process high-dimensional data through its node node-linked structure. Combining Gray Wolf algorithm (GWO) for initial weights thresholds as whole, four-layer structure built predict test samples, while support vector machines ( SVM) random forest controls. The results show accuracy predicting samples 95.13%, SVM 77.56%, 72.32%. F1 score model higher than SVM, detection effect better applied detect status drivers.

A study of fatal traffic crashes in Florida examined contributing factors among crashes in which younger (under age 25) drivers were found to be at fault. A case-based analysis was used to improve the accuracy and completeness of the data from the original crash reports. Results were presented using over-representation factors (ORB), a simplified but statistically significant approach to freque...

PURPOSE This study was designed to examine the effect of homonymous hemianopia (HH) on detection of pedestrian figures in multiple realistic and hazardous situations within the controlled environment of a driving simulator. METHODS Twelve people with complete HH and without visual neglect or cognitive decline and 12 matched (age, sex, and years of driving experience) normally sighted (NV) dri...
متن کاملEmotion matters: Implications for distracted driving
Driver distraction is estimated to be one of the leading causes of motor vehicle accidents. Roadside billboards containing negative and positive emotional content have been shown to influence driving behaviour by modulating attention; however, the impact of emotion-related auditory distraction on driving is relatively unknown. In the present study, we explored the behavioural and event-related ...

While the number of motor vehicle crashes has declined over the years, crashes resulting from distracted driving are increasing in the United States resulting in significant morbidity and mortality. The national public seems to be aware of the dangers associated with using technology while driving, but continues to engage in this dangerous behaviour, and may be unaware of or underestimate the i...
متن کاملDistracted driving among adolescents: challenges and opportunities.
With advancing technology, the distractions to which drivers are exposed continue to increase. Seventy-two percent of individuals 18 years or older in the USA who own a cellphone admitted to using it while driving. Of particular concern, only 28% of adolescents in the 9th through 11th grades in the USA responded that cellphone use while driving ‘made a lot of difference’ in driving safety. Dist...
